My Sanctions

See every moderation action taken against you on any server that uses YAWBDB, read the reason, and open your appeal from one list.
๐ Where to find it
Account menu (top right) โ My Sanctions, or go straight to /my-sanctions on the panel.
The entry only shows in the menu once your panel account is linked to Discord. The list is matched on your Discord user ID, so without the link there is nothing to match. If you do not see it, follow Discord account not linked, then reload the page.
๐ Reading the list
The newest action is first. One row per action, with these columns:
| Column | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Server | The Discord server that took the action. A long name is cut short; hover it to read it all. |
| Type | Ban, softban, mute, kick or warn, as a coloured label. Lifting entries (unban, unmute), for example after an accepted appeal, are listed too. |
| Reason | What the moderator wrote, up to three lines. Hover it to read the whole text. A dash means no reason was given. |
| Duration | Permanent for a ban or mute with no end date, a length such as 3d for a temporary one, and a dash for actions that have no duration (a warning, a kick). |
| Date | When it happened. |
| Status | Active (red dot) while the action is still in force, Resolved once it has ended, been lifted by staff, or is a one-off such as a kick. |
| the last column | Appeal โ when an appeal exists for this action. |
Only servers that use YAWBDB appear. A sanction handed out by hand in Discord, with another bot, or on a server that does not use YAWBDB is not here.
โ๏ธ Appealing a sanction
- Find the row and click Appeal โ. It opens that action's appeal page, the page the bot links to in its direct message when it sent you one.
- Read the status and the staff's answer, if there is one.
- Write your message and send it. Staff reply in the same thread, and you can add follow-up messages while the appeal is open.
An appeal is opened for a ban, a mute or a warning, and only when the server has the Moderation feature switched on. A row without Appeal โ has no appeal: a kick or a softban never has one, nor does an action taken on a server whose Moderation feature was off at the time. There is nothing to open here. Ask the server's staff on Discord instead.
The server may also limit how long after the action you can appeal. If that time has passed, the page says so and the thread is closed to you; only the server's moderators can reopen it. See Sanctions and appeals for the whole flow, from the staff side too.
๐ก Example
You were muted for a day on "Night Shift HQ" and think it was a mistake.
- Account menu โ My Sanctions.
- The top row reads: Night Shift HQ, MUTE, "spam in #general",
1d, today's date, Active, Appeal โ. - Click Appeal โ, write "I pasted the same link twice by accident, it was not spam", send.
- Come back to the same page later. When the mute ends, its status switches to Resolved. The appeal thread stays reachable from the row.
๐ง When something goes wrong
๐จ My Sanctions is not in my menu
Your Discord account is not linked to your panel account. Link it from Profile โ Connect Discord (see Discord account not linked).
๐จ The page says "No moderation actions recorded for your Discord account"
Either nothing has been recorded against you, or the Discord account you linked is not the one that was sanctioned. Check the Discord username shown on your Profile. If you linked the wrong account, unlink it and link the right one; the list follows the linked account straight away.
๐จ An action I know about is missing
Only actions recorded by YAWBDB are listed. Anything a moderator did by hand in Discord's own tools, or with another bot, is invisible here.
๐จ There is no "Appeal โ" on my row
No appeal was opened for it (see above).
๐จ The appeal page says the window has expired
The server set a deadline and it has passed. Contact the server's staff on Discord and ask them to reopen it; only a moderator can.
๐จ I want to see this from the Discord side
Type /my-history on the server. The bot answers with your last records there. See History commands.
