Account security and deleting your account

Keep your panel account safe: change your password, turn on two-factor sign-in, sign out of browsers you no longer use, and, if you ever need to, delete the account for good.
Everything on this page lives on one screen: open the account menu at the top right and click Profile. The blocks appear in this order: profile information, Update Password, Two Factor Authentication, Browser Sessions, Delete Account, then notifications, your linked Discord account and your data export.
🔑 Change your password
- On Profile, find Update Password.
- Type your Current Password, then the New Password twice.
- Click Save. A "Saved." note appears next to the button.
The new password must be at least 8 characters.
🎮 You signed up with Discord and have no password
If your account was created with Sign in with Discord, it has no password yet. A Set a Password block appears on your Profile (it only shows for an account that is linked to Discord and has no password).
- Type a New Password and Confirm Password.
- Click Set Password.
From then on you can also sign in with your email and that password. Set one before you use the other blocks on this page: turning on two-factor, signing out other browsers and deleting the account all ask for your password to confirm, and an account without one cannot answer.
📱 Turn on two-factor sign-in
Two-factor sign-in adds a 6-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone to every email-and-password sign-in.
- On Profile, find Two Factor Authentication and click Enable.
- Type your password when asked.
- A QR code and a Setup Key appear. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (or type the setup key into it by hand).
- Type the 6-digit code the app now shows into Code and click Confirm.
Until you click Confirm with a valid code, two-factor is not active: the block says "Finish enabling two factor authentication." Closing the page at step 3 leaves your account as it was.
🧾 Save your recovery codes
Right after you confirm, the block lists your recovery codes. Copy them into a password manager now. Each code works once, in place of the 6-digit code, if you lose your phone.
- Show Recovery Codes / Hide Recovery Codes reveal or hide the list.
- Regenerate Recovery Codes throws the old list away and makes a new one. Use it after you have used a code, and save the new list straight away.
- Disable turns two-factor off (it asks for your password).
⚠️ What two-factor does not cover
Signing in with the Discord button on the login page does not ask for the code: it signs you in as soon as Discord confirms who you are. Two-factor protects the email-and-password route only. If your account is linked to Discord, the safety of that route rests on your Discord account's own security.
🖥️ Sign out of other browsers
Browser Sessions lists the browsers and devices that are signed in to your account, with a Last active time. The one you are using says This device.
- Click Log Out Other Browser Sessions.
- Type your password and confirm.
Every other browser is signed out at once. This device stays signed in. If you think someone else got into your account, do this and then change your password.
🗑️ Delete your account
Delete Account removes your account for good, and it takes more with it than most people expect.
Deleting your account deletes every team you own. That includes your personal team (the one created when you signed up) and every team you created. A team's servers and their settings are removed with it, so the other members of those teams lose access to everything in them. There is no undo.
What stays: teams you only belong to as a member. You are simply removed from them.
Before you delete:
- Open the account menu and look at Switch Teams. Note every team you own and who else uses it.
- On Profile, click Get a copy of your data (see Download your data) if you want to keep a record. The file is yours only; it does not restore anything.
- Tell the people who share a team you own, so they are not surprised.
To delete:
- Click Delete Account and read the warning.
- Type your password.
- Click Delete Account in the window that opens.
🔧 When something goes wrong
🚨 "Delete Account" or "Log Out Other Browser Sessions" will not accept my password
You may have signed up with Discord and never set a password. Look for the Set a Password block on Profile, set one, then try again.
🚨 My phone is lost and I cannot give a code
Use one of the recovery codes you saved: type it in the code field at the two-factor step instead of the 6-digit code. If you saved none, sign in with the Discord button if the account is linked to Discord, then open Profile and use Disable, then enable it again on the new phone. If neither works, open a ticket with the support team.
🚨 The code from my app is refused
The code depends on your phone's clock. Turn on automatic date and time on the phone and try the next code. If it is still refused, use a recovery code.
🚨 I scanned the QR code but two-factor says it is not enabled
The last step is Confirm. Enter the current code from the app and click it. Until then the block keeps saying "Finish enabling two factor authentication."
🚨 I deleted my account by mistake
Deletion is final. Create a new account and set your servers up again; the removed teams and their settings cannot be brought back.
