Linked Discord account
Linking your Discord account connects your YAWBDB panel account to your Discord identity.
This is required for several user-facing features.
š Why link Discord?
YAWBDB uses your Discord account to connect panel actions with Discord activity.
Linking is useful for:
- Tracking your reports
- Tracking your tickets
- Viewing appeals linked to your Discord ID
- Confirming server membership for votes
- Receiving relevant notifications
- Connecting staff actions to Discord context
š How to link your account
- Open the YAWBDB panel.
- Open your profile menu.
- Go to Profile or Linked Accounts.
- Choose Connect Discord.
- Authorize YAWBDB with Discord.
- Return to the panel.
Once linked, your Discord identity can be used by supported features.
š Privacy note
YAWBDB only uses the linked account for platform features that need to know your Discord identity.
Do not share your account with others. If you use multiple Discord accounts, make sure you link the correct one.
š When linking is required
Some features may not work correctly without a linked Discord account.
Examples:
- My Reports
- My Tickets
- User appeal history
- Voting membership checks
- Role-aware notifications
š§ Troubleshooting
šØ I linked the wrong Discord account
Disconnect or change the linked account from your profile settings if the panel supports it. If not, contact support.
šØ I cannot see my reports or tickets
Make sure the Discord account that submitted the report or ticket is the same one linked to your panel account.
šØ Discord authorization failed
Try again while logged in to the correct Discord account. If the issue continues, check browser extensions, pop-up blockers, or Discord session state.
