Friends, moderation upgrades & more

Hey everyone 👋

A fresh update just landed — here's what's new.

👥 Friends

You can now add friends directly on YAWBDB. Head to Friends in the navigation bar to get started.

• Search any panel user and send a friend request
• Accept or decline requests straight from the notification bell — no page change needed
• Start a DM with any friend in one click
• Block users to prevent messages and friend requests
• See your friends' online / away / DND status anywhere on the platform

Friend requests show up in the bell in real time, and you can optionally receive an email when someone adds you (Profile → Email Notifications → Friend requests).

🛡️ Moderation history

The sanction history on your server's moderation page now shows a proper user card for each entry — Discord avatar, username, and ID side by side.

Click any row to open a live info panel: display name, server roles with their colors, join date, and a note if the user has since left the server.

✏️ Edit sanction reason

Staff can now update the reason on any existing sanction directly from the panel — just hover the reason cell and click the pencil icon.

The /reason slash command in Discord does the same thing:

/reason case_id: 42  new_reason: <updated reason>  notify: true

Setting notify: true sends the user a DM with the updated reason automatically.

🟢 Online status everywhere

Status dots (online / away / DND) now appear consistently across the whole platform — Friends page, chat sidebar, conversation members — not just inside the chat itself.
