Late September 2026 update
Voice and AI
Voice Conversation, experimental. A new feature, separate from Audio Recording: the bot joins a voice channel, listens, and answers out loud with the model, lore and memory of AI Response. Two modes. On demand: a member invites it with /voice-chat start, for a number of minutes you set; you can restrict who may invite it to a role and which voice or stage channels it may be invited to (leave both empty to allow everyone, everywhere). Resident: it stays in one voice channel of your choice and anyone there can talk to it, with a daily listening allowance in minutes; once reached, it stays in the channel but stops listening until midnight UTC. In both modes it posts a notice in the channel's own text chat before it listens, or in a text channel you name when it cannot write there, and it never listens without a channel it can write in. Speech can come from a voice only your own speech endpoint knows. A server has one voice connection, so the bot does not record a channel and converse in another at the same time. /voice-chat is reserved and listed as slash-only. The channel pickers of both voice features now list voice and stage channels only.
Random Bot Interactions is now inside AI Response. One feature, one set of settings. The spontaneous messages (the channels they may land in, their cadence, and, if you want, a model and endpoint of their own) are a section of AI Response's settings. A server that had both features keeps everything it had configured; where the two disagreed on endpoint, key or model, the spontaneous messages keep their own. A reply resets the cadence, so a spontaneous message never lands right after an answer. The page shows the most spontaneous messages a day your settings allow, and the emoji list is only sent when reactions and the emoji context are on.
AI Response can search the web. Off by default. Where your provider does it natively (OpenRouter, an OpenAI search model), it goes through your endpoint and your key. Otherwise you can set up a search service of your own in a dialog of its own: Brave, Tavily or a SearXNG instance. What comes back is capped in length, never written to memory, and a search that fails neither posts a placeholder nor costs a third call.
What your model usage costs. The AI Response page keeps a daily tally: calls, tokens in and out, and an estimated cost per day and per model. Prices are fetched from OpenRouter's public list, OpenAI models included; a self-hosted model reads "unknown". Numbers are written the way your language writes them, and the table keeps the cost in view on a phone. Every answer is now capped at 4000 tokens, self-hosted endpoints included. Meeting summaries work with reasoning models, and a summary reply with no choices fails with its own message again.
Memory
The memory type is one choice per server, on the Memory page. It used to be set twice, once in AI Response and once in Random Bot Interactions. It now lives on the Memory page, in the same side-by-side comparison of the six types, and it is saved the moment you click. Nobody's type changed at deployment: where the two settings disagreed, the richer one was kept. The page also says where the ranking weights, the number of facts injected and the models are set, so nobody looks for them in the wrong place.
The six types drawn as one scale, with your server's position on it, at the top of the Memory page.
Every fact has a history. A row of the memory list leads to its own timeline: how the fact was written, corrected, retired or restored, and by what. Where a choice is waiting for you (a proposed merge, a contradiction), the timeline forks, and the question is asked right there. Merging two facts now says which one is kept and which steps aside.
"Forget everything" and "Restore everything" are back. A bug meant they were offered to nobody, owners included.
Games and rewards
Wordle speaks the language of its word. A server whose Wordle is in French now sees everything around the word in French: the game, the buttons, the guess window, the stats, the leaderboard, the live embed, the daily recap and the reminder. Until now only the word was French. The language follows the game's setting, otherwise the server's Discord language, exactly as the word does. The descriptions of /wordle have a French version, shown to members whose Discord is in French. Server Logs lines stay in English, as for every other feature. The September update said the bot's own messages around the game would stay in English for now; that is done.
A "Voted on top.gg" trigger in the reward graph. Reward a member who voted for the bot with a role, a message or bonus XP. It does not fire at the moment of the vote (top.gg does not say which server the vote comes from) but the next time the voter earns XP on your server: a message, voice time, a reaction to their message. Once per vote and per server; voting again re-arms it. Independent of the vote XP boost. The card explains all of this itself, in 13 languages.
A duel and a hangman game say when they end. The rock-paper-scissors challenge shows "Expires in 10 minutes"; the hangman board shows an "Ends" field as a relative Discord timestamp. When time runs out, the board takes its buttons down: the duel says who did not play, hangman reveals the word. Before, the board stayed clickable after the game had died.
Leveling. The leaderboard exports as JSON in the exact shape the import reads, so a backup can be restored as is. On a phone the leaderboard stacks into cards with Adjust and Reset reachable, the search keeps its width above the export buttons, and a streak is counted in days in the reader's language, on the public leaderboard too. The reward graph's example messages show their {level} and {username} again, and the graph assistant names a card's kind in your language, tells you the ids of the cards it adds, and no longer calls every card unknown.
Forms, birthdays, embeds
Forms hold ten questions. Past five, the form opens in two pop-ups with a "Continue (2/2)" button. Every answer can be taken away as a spreadsheet: a "↓ Answers (CSV)" button on each form that has answers, one line per answer, one column per question; an answer given before a question was renamed keeps its column, two questions with the same label keep both answers, the file opens with accents intact in Excel, and a value that starts like a formula stays text. The export leaves a line in the server's audit log. Staff can tell a member by DM that their answers were accepted or rejected.
Birthdays, in private too. A new option, "Also wish them in a private message": the bot sends the same message to the announced member by DM, without the role ping. And your own birthday can be set or removed from your profile in the panel (Discord account linked), with the same rules as /birthday set, including the 30-day lock after a change, without adding it to any server.
Saved embeds, reused. Scheduled messages, custom commands and birthday announcements can start from an embed saved in the Embed Builder. The copy is independent: editing the template later does not change what was already scheduled.
Your data
The copy of your data deletes when you want. Profile → Your personal data: a "Delete this copy now" button erases the file from our servers without waiting the 7 days. The delay before a new request does not change. The notes inside the export are written in your language. The "Delete account" block now points to "Get a copy of your data" first.
The panel itself
A new coat. The panel's accent is the caramel of the hamster's fur and its type is Rubik; warm stone greys are the default palette; every page's card is the same card, the shared components take the burrow's shape, the pages' own action buttons are pills, and an empty list shows the bot's portrait. The top.gg card and the assistant gauge take the same frame.
Four themes. From your account: system, light, dark or midnight. Alongside, a readability pass: quiet text on grey grounds and on the caramel headers reads at AA in dark mode, the picked category stays readable, the empty role picker's hint is legible on its grey box, the AI usage box keeps its quiet text readable, the wiki import button reads at 4.5:1 on its green, and both assistant windows read well in the light theme. Every form control and graph button has an accessible name, and 24 more pages passed the accessibility check, the public leaderboard included.
The panel speaks your language, much more of it. The 193 kinds of actions the panel writes in the activity log (server, team, back office) now read in the reader's language for every entry written from now on; older entries keep their English, as they did not keep their values. Also in your language now: why an assistant proposal was refused (the assistant itself still gets the reason in English, to correct itself), why a setting was not saved, a refused form field ("Le champ nom est obligatoire."), the default team roles and their descriptions until your team renames them, sanction types on every screen, a server's event log, ticket, report and appeal statuses, the messages of the forgot-password page, a failed sign-in, a wrong two-factor or recovery code, a wrong password at confirmation or account deletion, the "you joined the team" banner, the tab titles of sign-in, sign-up, wiki, announcements, history, votes and tickets, file sizes ("823,4 ko"), percentages and hour counts, the series names of the analytics charts, the steps and refusals of the wiki import, an admin's view of a server team's roles, and admin texts stored in English. A team invitation reaches an existing account in the language it chose; a mailing's footer speaks its recipient's language; mails say which language they are written in; translations put a no-break space between a number and its unit.
On a phone. The wiki editor shows the Markdown or the preview, your choice, full width instead of two half columns; stacked table cells show their whole text (moderation history and the like); the admin and server pages fit a 390 px screen; the friends tabs fit in Russian; the public vote page fits and counts down in days and hours; the embed template list fits in French; the wiki admin's page titles wrap instead of being cut; the wiki import plan puts the path under the detail; cut giveaway and wiki titles show in full on hover.
Drag-and-drop help you can watch. The help pop-up for the board plays a recording of the real gesture instead of a drawing, the replay stops after eight turns, the board says what to do, and it takes a plain click instead if you prefer. A mixed board is photographed too, and an empty card says so below its name. A trigger written like a command points at the feature built for commands.
Fixes
- Mail unsubscribe - one-click unsubscribes from a shared mail server are no longer throttled away, and the mail client's own unsubscribe button works.
- Giveaways - a giveaway is running only once Discord is showing it.
- Forgot password - the form no longer says whether an address has an account.
- Assistant - a refusal written away from a controller is a code too, so it is translated like the others.
- Wordle activity page - names the game's language on the page itself, so screen readers and browsers pick the right one.
- Audio Recording - its voice channel picker lists voice and stage channels only.
