A big batch: Social Alerts, Embed Builder, Birthdays, Form Builder and a full Games hub

Six new features landed at once, plus a round of fixes. Everything below is off by default โ€” enable what you want from your server โ†’ Features.

๐Ÿ”” Social Alerts

Follow the creators your community cares about and let the bot announce them: YouTube uploads, Twitch streams going live, Reddit posts from a subreddit or a user, Bluesky posts, and any RSS or Atom feed.

Each alert has its own destination channel, an optional role to mention, and your own message using {name}, {title} and {url}. The bot posts an embed in the platform's colours, with the title, link, excerpt and thumbnail.

Setting one up never floods your channel: the first check only takes a snapshot of what already exists, and announcements start from the next new post. Sources are checked every five minutes, and the panel shows the last post, the last check and any error per source.

๐ŸŽจ Embed Builder

A dedicated page to compose real Discord embeds with a preview that matches exactly what your members will see โ€” title with a clickable link, markdown description, colour, author with an icon, image, thumbnail, footer, timestamp, and up to 25 fields you can reorder and lay out full-width or side by side.

Save an embed as a reusable template, or send it to a channel immediately with Send now without saving anything.

The same editor is now shared: Custom Command replies moved from a small six-field form to the full editor with preview, and Scheduled Messages can send an embed instead of plain text, or alongside it. Your existing commands and messages keep working exactly as they are.

๐ŸŽ‚ Birthdays

Members register once with /birthday set. The date is stored for their Discord account, not per server โ€” someone who already entered it on another server running YAWBDB types nothing, they simply choose which servers may announce it.

You pick the channel, the hour and the timezone, an optional role to ping, and an optional birthday role the bot hands out on the day and takes back on its own after the duration you set. The message is composed with the Embed Builder editor and accepts {user}, {mention}, {age} and {count} โ€” the age only appears if the member volunteered their birth year and you switched the option on.

Nobody can farm the spotlight: a member is announced at most once a year per server, no matter how often they rewrite their date. You can also require a minimum time on the server, and a day with many birthdays goes out as one grouped message instead of a burst of pings.

Everyone keeps control of their own data โ€” /birthday remove opts out of one server, /birthday forget erases the record everywhere, and that always works.

๐Ÿ“ Form Builder

Build a form in the panel and your members fill it in from a real Discord pop-up, not a chain of questions in a channel. Four question types: short answer, long answer, single choice and multiple choice, up to five questions โ€” that limit is Discord's, not ours.

They open one with /form open, and the name completes itself as they type. Every submission arrives as a clean recap in the staff channel you pick and is stored in the panel, where you accept or reject it with a note and jump straight to the Discord message.

Guard a form behind a role, put it on a cooldown, or limit it to one answer per member โ€” all three are re-checked when the form comes back, so leaving a pop-up open in a corner does not slip past them. Close a form in one click without losing the answers you already have.

Answers are frozen at the moment they are sent, so rewording a question tomorrow never rewrites what people actually saw.

๐ŸŽฎ The Games hub grew to seven games

Wordle now has company:

Every game is switched on separately, can be restricted to specific channels, carries its own cooldown, and can reward the winner with XP through the full leveling pipeline. Wins also feed the reward graph through a new Mini-game won trigger, and land in your Server Logs under engagement.

๐Ÿ“Š Better, and more honest, game stats

The Games tab of your server Insights now covers every game: rounds played, win rate, unique players, played in the last 7 days, and a 30-day curve โ€” per game.

Three things were wrong there and are fixed:

๐Ÿค– Smarter, quieter AI

The AI can now post its answer as a Discord reply to the exact message it is responding to, instead of a flat message in the channel, and it reliably identifies who it is quoting along with their roles.

It also stopped replying to its own messages, which made it look like it was talking to itself. A new option โ€” Allow the bot to reply to its own messages, off by default โ€” brings the old behaviour back if you want it. Internal context markers no longer leak into what it posts.

Everything is in your server โ†’ Features, and each feature has its own page in the wiki.
