💡 Suggestions

Let your members submit ideas with /suggest, vote on them with 👍/👎, and let your staff approve, reject, or mark them implemented — all reviewed from the web dashboard.

How it works

1. Enable Suggestions and pick a suggestions channel in the feature settings.
2. A member runs /suggest <idea> anywhere in the server.
3. The bot posts the suggestion as an embed in your channel, with optional 👍/👎 vote buttons.
4. Your staff opens the Suggestions page and sets a status — the Discord embed updates automatically.

A suggestions channel must be configured for /suggest to work.

Voting

When voting is enabled, each suggestion shows 👍/👎 buttons with live counts:

• Click to vote.
• Click the same button again to remove your vote.
• Click the opposite button to switch.

Each member counts once per suggestion, and tallies stay in sync with the panel.

Statuses

From the panel, move each suggestion through Pending → Approved / Rejected / Implemented. Add an optional staff note when you change a status — both the status and the note appear on the Discord embed right away.

Options

• Suggestions channel — where suggestions are posted (required)
• Allow voting — show 👍/👎 buttons
• Create a discussion thread — open a thread under each suggestion
• Anonymous suggestions — hide the author on the embed (still recorded in the panel)

New: features that work together

Suggestions now connect to your other features — and so do Giveaways:

• Earn XP for suggestions — the Leveling reward graph has new triggers, On suggestion created and On suggestion approved, so you can grant XP, roles or titles when members contribute ideas (add a Cooldown node to prevent farming).
• Giveaways bonus entries — give members better odds with weighted entries by role, server boost, level, prestige, streak or XP, plus options to exclude sanctioned members and block brand-new accounts.
• Server Logs — Engagement category — new suggestions, status changes and giveaway start/end/winner events are captured in the searchable log viewer.
• Insights — Engagement tab — see suggestion counts, approval rate and giveaway stats at a glance.

Whenever a feature unlocks options in another, they're shown locked (🔒) with a notice rather than hidden — and every feature still works completely on its own. See the new Feature interconnections reference page.
