🎉 Giveaways

Run prize giveaways your members enter with a single click — created, drawn, and managed entirely from the web panel.

How it works

1. Go to Panel → your server → Features and enable Giveaways
2. Open the Giveaways page and create a giveaway
3. Set the prize, a description, the channel, the number of winners, and the end date
4. Optionally add entry requirements (a required role, or a minimum level)
5. Click Publish — YAWBDB posts an embed with a live countdown and an Enter button

Members click Enter to join. When the timer runs out, winners are drawn automatically, the embed is updated, and the winners are announced in the channel.

Entry requirements

Giveaways can be open to everyone, or gated:

• Required role — only members holding a specific role can enter
• Required level — only members at or above a minimum level can enter (available when the Leveling feature is enabled)

Requirements are checked the moment a member clicks Enter — invalid entries are rejected with a private, ephemeral message explaining exactly why.

Reliable, fair draws

Winners are drawn on the panel, not in the bot. That means:

• A giveaway always ends on time — even if the bot restarts in the middle, it catches up and draws the moment it reconnects
• The draw is a uniform random pick among valid entrants
• Fewer entrants than winners? Everyone wins. No valid entrants? The giveaway ends cleanly with no winner

Managing giveaways

Each giveaway shows its status — Draft, Running, Ended, or Cancelled — along with its entry count and winners.

• End now — close a running giveaway early and draw immediately
• Reroll — draw a fresh winner (excluding previous winners) when someone is unreachable
• DM winners — optionally send each winner a direct message (toggle in the feature settings)
